We may collect, store, and use the following kinds of personal information about individuals who visit and use our website, apps, and related services:

• Account details you supply: name/display name, Indian mobile number, profile photo, and optional profile fields (sport preference, area, date of birth/age confirmation).
• Authentication data: OTP verification events; Google account identifiers if you use “Continue with Google” on the User app.
• Location data: approximate or precise location when you allow it (for example, to find venues near you).
• Usage and device data: bookings, matches, scoring activity, device identifiers, crash/diagnostic logs, and push notification tokens.
• Financial data (where features are enabled): wallet and payment transaction status, KYC details you submit, and payout destination details (such as UPI/bank).
• Communications: support emails/messages and in-app match chat where enabled.
• Partner/Scorer business data: venue listing details, court information, fee rates, and assignment history needed to operate those apps.

We use personal information to:

• Create and secure your account and verify OTP / sign-in.
• Provide the services you request (venue discovery, bookings, challenges, live scoring, partner tools, scorer tools).
• Process payments, refunds, escrowed entry fees, scorer fees, and withdrawals where enabled.
• Send transactional notifications (SMS/push/email) about bookings, matches, and account security.
• Prevent fraud, abuse, multi-accounting, and fair-play violations.
• Comply with applicable law (including tax/record-keeping requirements) and enforce our Terms.
• Improve reliability and safety of the platform (including diagnostics).

Information you provide may be stored on secure servers and processed by service providers who help us operate BoxArena (for example hosting, SMS/OTP, payment gateways, crash reporting, and support tooling) under contracts that limit use to providing their service.

We may share limited booking or match information with the other party to a transaction (for example a venue sees your booking; opponents see necessary match details; scorers see assignment details).

We do not rent, sell, or share personal information with non-affiliated companies for their own marketing. We will use reasonable efforts to ensure your personal data is not disclosed except as needed to run the service, with your direction, or when required by law or regulation.

We use HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit and industry-standard access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please protect your device and never share OTP codes.

Primary application data is intended to be hosted in India (for example AWS ap-south-1). Some processors may process data in other regions under appropriate safeguards.

You have the right to ensure that your personal data is being processed lawfully (including access and correction requests under applicable Indian law such as the DPDP Act, 2023).

You may request erasure / account deletion. In-app: Profile → Delete account. Without the app: follow /legal/delete-account or email support with subject “Delete my BoxArena account” and your registered mobile number.

After deletion we anonymise personal identifiers. Financial ledger rows may be retained in anonymised form where tax or payment law requires retention.

Any subject access or deletion request must be made in writing to BoxArena at the contact below. We may verify your identity before acting.

Paid bookings, wallet deposits, and competitive entry features are directed at users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly create paid wallets for children. Contact us if you believe a minor’s data was provided in error.

Any changes we may make to this Privacy Policy in the future will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you by email, SMS, or in-app notice. The “Last Updated” date at the top will change when we revise this Policy.
